I have been a professional photographer for 10 years and have a vast formal educational background in photography. With a diploma from Seneca College in Independent Digital Photography, Fashion Photography & Professional Communication Certificate from Ryerson University and Adobe Premiere Editing and Adobe Illustration certificates from George Brown College. I consider myself a life-long learner.
My professional background is primarily photographing people in studio environments and on-location. For 5 years I was the in-house photographer at CMU College of Makeup Art and Design. CMU is North America's leading school for professional Makeup Art & Design for film, theatre, television and fashion. A typical week for me at CMU would be running the photography studio photographing 60-120 models and actors a week in a studio environment. During my time there I also would shoot international campaigns for the schools’ advertising and for Kryolan Makeup. Over the years I expanded my role and started to teach classroom demonstrations about set etiquette and working with a photographer.
I left CMU to pursue a career in the film and television industry. During my 2 years of unit stills photography thus far, I have over 60 paid days on set of non-union and permitted days on a union film.
I am extremely personable and put people at ease in-front of the camera. With a portfolio that has a creative range of style that leaves an impression, my work has been described as vibrant, powerful and creative with great artistry.
